Artist's Comments
This was for my Principles of Design I class. The concept of this was FEAR, to interpret it your own way. My interpretation of FEAR is something of the past that comes to haunt you whenever you see a situation of someone else that you have gone through ... mainly experiences. I fear blood and things crashing from above.
The black is something that is crashing and those crescent shaped things are showing movement of the black circle, while the white outline is the blood splattering out. I chose it to be a white background because you think you're in a safe place, but there is darkness in every light. We were only allowed to use circles to create shapes. I know it's not great, but that is what I have come up with. At least I'm learning. Items used: HB pencil, Prismacolor Premier Cool Grey Colours (black), Professional Combo Circle Stencil, drawn on a Bristol pad. |

I think is a great work, even the black ball is as a bowling's ball, but I see its meaning, even the pic is abstract, it is the expression of a car crashing on the street and the result is flowing blood, but on a abstract form; did you see a car' accident whit blood, Sovany? There is not necesity you answer, that could be very painful; but I hope my comment helps you; I am glad by being the first on comment your work again.
